Willow Creek Farms
Prairie du Sac, WI
Tony and Sue Renger share in the work of production, care, marketing and distribution of their pork. Tony grew up on a farm in Iowa and is a fourth-generation hog farmer. They started with 10 acres in 1993, and today they farm 80 acres. The farm is sustainable, providing a high quality of life to the animals and a great education for their children.
The Rengers won 2011 Grand Champion for Traditional Boneless Ham along with Reserve Champion for their bacon at the 2010 Wisconsin Association of Meat Processors convention.
The Rengers were finalists in the first, second and third annual Gallo Family Vineyards Gold Medal Awards in the category of OUTSTANDING MEAT. Gallo Family Vineyards created the Gold Medal Awards program to recognize excellence and the highest standards in quality and craftsmanship among artisanal food producers in the United States.
Sassy Cow Creamery
Sassy Cow Creamery is a farmstead milk bottling business that opened its doors in 2008 on the Baerwolf family farm located seven miles north of Sun Prairie. The site for the creamery was chosen between both dairy herds so that all processing could be done in one convenient location. We are located only fifteen minutes north of Madison and just seven miles north of Sun Prairie off of Hwy N.
Today, many consumers don’t know or recognize the ingredients in the food they purchase and consume. We offer an alternative to that. The creamery does not manufacture anything but instead the cow does all the work naturally. Sassy Cow Creamery just picks up where she left off and brings great tasting dairy products to you, the consumer.
Great quality dairy products come from the milk of cows that are respected and treated well...that’s what it is all about. Sassy Cow Creamery celebrates the cow in its facilities, products and packaging.
Ice Cream Bar with Chef Nate Hamilton
Nate Hamilton’s cooking career began in a Milwaukee pizza kitchen at the age of fourteen, when he unexpectedly found himself manning the pizza oven instead of washing dishes his first night on the job. Years later, he cut his culinary teeth in kitchens across Chicago, including Spiaggia and Aria, as well as in London at Gordon Ramsay’s Maze and Fergus Henderson’s St. John. After moving to Madison in 2008, Nate worked as sous chef at both Harvest and Graze. As the head chef at Harvest, he uses seasonal ingredients and progressive cooking methods to reinvent the flavors of his Wisconsin youth. He is particularly interested in blurring the lines between savory and sweet dishes, and enjoys creating distinctive ice cream flavors that complement a constantly evolving dessert menu."

We taste and tweak every pot to ensure each batch is up to our exacting standards. This artisan-centered approach allows us to always use the highest quality fresh produce, adjusting for the differences in season and variety.
At Fromagination, we have a passion for artisan cheese and perfect companions. That’s why we were named a 2011 Outstanding Retailer by the National Association for the Specialty Food Trade.

We’re especially proud to be part of the Wisconsin dairy artisan revolution, where handcrafted, original cheeses are taking center stage. We carry more than 60 Wisconsin cheeses – some with such limited distribution, they are available only in our store.

Square Wine Co
...with wines from Waters Winery, Copain Winery, and Walnut City Wineworks
We provide a more "hands on" approach to wine retail, as we offer weekly tastings to help you find something that speaks to you, specifically. By doing weekly tastings, we as a staff, will also have a pulse on all the wines in the store, allowing us to provide better service to you. We want you to remember that wine is an agricultural product. The wines we sell are living and with that, they are always changing in the bottle. This is the magic of wine; we have seen how awesome and brilliant this idea is and believe it is our responsibility to share this great secret with you.
